The full Moon November 2024 is known as the Beaver Moon since beavers begin to build their dams before the ground freezes. This is a time when many have to prepare for winter, and when some of the first snow falls in the northern United States and Canada happen. It’s a time when most trees and shrubs have shed their leaves.

November's full moon, known as the Beaver Moon, is the last chance for people to see a supermoon this year. It is due to peak later on Friday when the moon's orbit takes it to its closest point to Earth. It will not be quite as bright as last month's Hunter's Moon but should still be fully visible to stargazers.
