A boatload of errors, some forced and others not so much, doomed the No. 6 BYU Cougars to their first loss of the magical 2024 season on Saturday night in Provo

BYU had its chances to put some distance between the Jayhawks earlier. At the end of the first half, Retzlaff had BYU inside the five-yard line with 39 seconds left. The Cougars had two timeouts. But inside of running the ball, the offense opted for a fade route that was intercepted in the end zone.

Jalon Daniels threw for 169 yards, Dylan Neal ran for two touchdowns and Kansas upset No. 7 BYU 17-13 on Saturday night to hand the Cougars their first loss of the season.
