Sam Darnold has exceeded everyone's expectations for the 2024 season by a wide margin. Even we here at Vikings Wire didn't have too high of expectations for the team, but Darnold has been able to get the most out of this team alongside the coaching staff.

Darnold is coming off his worst game of the season. He completed 24-of-38 passes for 241 yards and three interceptions against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jones finished the game with 19 touches for 101 combined yards. The Vikings are 3-0 against the AFC South with wins against the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Jaguars.

Darnold threw three interceptions in the Vikings' 12-7 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The former first-round pick of the New York Jets has thrown for 2,141 yards, 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season. He's added 148 yards on the ground.
